You have an animal in your attic or you are hearing sounds up there, Now what do you do?
Having an animal in your attic is not a good problem to have. Let alone keep you up at night, animals will destroy insulation, costing you money on your energy bills. They may prove to be safety issues as well, chewing wires and in extreme cases their droppings may become health risks.

If you have heard some noises listen closely to the sounds. Try to hear if it's squeaking, gnawing, flopping, jumping, fighting or running across your attic. This will definitely help to determine what animal might be living up there. Have you seen the critter actually entering your home or possibly climbing onto your roof? These are also helpful clues. Next take a quick walk around your home, look for missing soffit, torn shingles, rotten or chewed wood and insulation. Look up and down as evidence may be high or low. If you can see a hole take note of the size. Is it the size of a tennis ball or grapefruit?

Next look around for ways it could possibly get up there. Did it fly, jump or climb it's way up? Holes could be lower also and wildlife may be making their way to the attic through wall voids. Lastly is to figure out a solution. That's where we come in and can help you in many ways!
